Operate, start up, shut down, and maintain high pressure boilers, chillers, air compressors and auxiliary equipment throughout the Central Plant to supply heat, hot water, steam, compressed air, and chilled water to the Stratford plant facilities.Operate, start up, shut down, and maintain the cogeneration system - including the gas-powered turbine, duct burner, and energy recovery equipment. Must make critical operational decisions regarding the import or export of electrical power and independently diagnose and resolve equipment or process issues observed in the control room or during rounds, ensuring reliable and safe plant operation.
