Salary: $16.25 per hour
Job Description
Export and Import Classifiers support Aerospace programs by reviewing technology and technical data to determine the export and/or import classifications of the items as outlined in United States regulations. Successful candidates for this position will be trained to interpret U.S. regulations by Customer Global Trade professionals and will work closely with other GTCC classifiers to develop the necessary classifier skills.
Job Responsibilities
Utilize Customer procedures and work instructions to determine export and import classifications for Customer products as directed by the Central Manager and Onsite Supervisor. Participate in training and team meetings as directed by the Central Manager. Utilize the classification verification/escalation process for complex classifications. Track and report time spent on all activities as directed by the Onsite Supervisor.
Requirements
Education / Experience 2 years formal education or work experience in an advanced technical field. e.g., Data Analytics, in manufacturing or quality control area.  Associate Degree in Engineering.

Skills and Abilities

Required Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Have adequate computer skills to use internal Customer  systems. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be a United States citizen
