Wiz Cybersecurity Implementation SpecialistWiz Implementation Specialist (Cybersecurity)Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly technical Wiz Implementation Specialist to lead the deployment, configuration, and optimization of a large-scale Wiz cloud security implementation. This engagement will focus on the net-new addition and configuration of approximately 4,500 Wiz Advanced Workloads within an existing enterprise Wiz tenant environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud security architecture, workload onboarding, SaaS security platforms, and enterprise-scale cybersecurity implementations across multi-cloud environments. This role will collaborate closely with security engineering, cloud operations, infrastructure, compliance, and application teams to ensure a successful deployment aligned with organizational security objectives and operational requirements. Project is located in Southern California and is expected to take an estimated 2 weeks. Onsite Required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead implementation and onboarding activities for approximately 4,500 Wiz Advanced Workloads within an existing Wiz tenant.
  • Configure and optimize Wiz security capabilities across cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
  • Assess current tenant architecture and recommend improvements for scalability, visibility, governance, and operational efficiency.
  • Configure integrations with cloud-native services, identity providers, SIEM platforms, ticketing systems, and vulnerability management tools.
  • Establish workload onboarding standards, tagging strategies, policies, and alerting configurations.
  • Develop and implement best practices for:
    • Cloud posture management (CSPM)
    • Cloud workload protection (CWPP)
    • Vulnerability management
    • Risk prioritization
    • Identity and access monitoring
    • Compliance reporting
  • Perform validation testing, troubleshooting, tuning, and remediation support throughout implementation.
  • Partner with internal cybersecurity and cloud engineering teams to ensure proper deployment sequencing and operational readiness.
  • Create implementation documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to internal technical teams on Wiz platform administration and operational best practices.
  • Support stakeholder meetings, status reporting, risk identification, and implementation governance activities.
  • Ensure implementation aligns with enterprise security policies, regulatory standards, and cloud governance frameworks.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience implementing enterprise cybersecurity or cloud security solutions.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and administering Wiz in enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform
    • Cloud networking and IAM
    • Containerized and serverless workloads
    • Security operations and vulnerability management
    • Cloud-native security services
  • Experience implementing security tooling at enterprise scale involving thousands of workloads or assets.
  • Familiarity with:

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Relevant cloud certifications such as:
