What You'll Do
As our Mentoring Volunteer Coordinator, you'll lead efforts to recruit, engage, and support volunteers who make a meaningful impact on children and families.
Community Engagement & Volunteer Leadership
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, businesses, and local partners
  • Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies
  • Recruit, screen, onboard, train, and support volunteers
  • Match volunteers with meaningful opportunities
  • Promote volunteer programs through community outreach and networking
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteer inquiries
Program Coordination
  • Coordinate volunteer activities, projects, and special events
  • Track volunteer participation, hours, and program outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and volunteer databases
  • Create volunteer training materials and newsletters
  • Facilitate ongoing communication with school staff, community partners, and CHS team members
Team Collaboration

  • Volunteer management or community outreach experience
