Role Overview

This individual will be part of the McKesson Pharmacy System (MPS) EnterpriseRx Implementation Team. The primary focus of this position is to lead and manage small to medium-sized implementations of MPS technologies for single or multi-site Digital, Specialty, Health System, or Chain operations and provide systems configuration, business consulting, and change management expertise. This individual will be the single point of contact for customer communication with the responsibility to ensure the completion of high-quality implementation projects as assigned, with emphasis on the customer experience during implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and differentiate specific customer business requirements to enable a successful implementation.

  • Identify deliverables to be used as a blueprint for the system build and corresponding measurements of success.

  • Lead standard consultative processes such as the system configuration, workflow, and physical layout of the customer space.

  • Employ overall knowledge and expertise on the EnterpriseRx pharmacy system and associated modules to collaborate with customers on strategy, preparation, and execution of all system configurations.

  • Create and maintain an Implementation Plan using MS Project and actively monitor and report on a documented Risks and Issues Log in accordance with department processes to efficiently drive the implementation to successful completion.

  • Provide reporting to direct management on implementation status, metrics, financial impacts, and risk mitigation to ensure timely and predictable revenue recognition on assigned accounts.

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of cross-functional and cross-business unit responsibilities and collaborate as required to execute an Implementation Plan in accordance with best practices and processes of the MPS Implementation Team.

  • Provide post-go-live monitoring to compare Site Metrics to 'Key Performance Indicator' goals.

  • Maintain accurate and timely project documentation by recording key details required to implement successfully and ensure project requirements are fulfilled.

  • Successfully execute multiple implementation projects concurrently.

  • Use sound judgment within defined policies and practices to identify, mitigate, and resolve complex problems.

  • Represent the organization on projects, potentially in a project leadership role.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Education

4-year degree in business, computer science or related field or equivalent experience

Critical Skills

  • 4+ years of Implementation or Training experience.

  • Ability to lead training and consultation sessions, conduct configuration workshops, and other customer-facing decision-oriented discussions on Core functionality.

  • Ability to document, manage, and mitigate risks and issues.

  • High degree of self-awareness with the ability to stay positive and professional in the face of adversity and separate decision-making from emotion.

  • Ability to follow and document project progress using an established implementation plan.

  • Proven effective professional communication skills at all levels of an organization.

  • Ability to identify and communicate functional and performance boundaries without damaging relationships.

  • Ability to apply effective and practical strategies to overcome internal and external blocks.

  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility by adapting to different situations and making strategic decisions that deliver quality and protect the organization.

  • Ability to successfully complete tasks independently or with minimal oversight.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required.

Preferred Skills

  • Direct business-to-business Implementation experience of MPS technologies with total contract values (TCV) of 1000k - $2m. With progressive experience may handle contracts with increased TCV.

  • Experience with developing and implementing Change Management strategies

  • Pharmacy technician or equivalent experience in a Chain, Specialty, or Digital pharmacy environment.

  • Proven experience in applying well-developed problem-solving skills (quantitative, conceptual, consultative, analytical) working with all levels of an organization.

  • Comfortable with significant client interaction and interest in building relationships.

  • Strong consulting background.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong written and verbal skills.

Travel

Travel up to 25%

This role is a hybrid position. The selected candidate is expected to work on-site at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in-office days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities.
