Job description

As a provider of customized supply chain solutions, we serve customers in many business-to-business market segments, including restaurants, grocery stores, healthcare, sports and entertainment, and cruise lines. Founded in 1935 and headquartered in New Jersey, Imperial Dade serves as a mission-critical partner to more than 120,000 customers through our footprint of 130+ branches.

Imperial Dade has a Warehouse Porter/Custodian role available in Lithia Springs, GA! Join a strong and continuously evolving team helping to continue to grow our business. If you're eager for your next opportunity, Imperial Dade is a great place to take that next step.
The Warehouse Porter/Custodian maintains a clean and organized warehouse following OSHA guidelines and Imperial Dade's standards.
The schedule is from 6:00pm-2:30am Monday through Friday; some overtime is required.
You will:
  • Clean floors, walls, guardrails, and other surfaces in the warehouse and office areas
  • Maintain the warehouse and offices in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Operate electric pallet jack to stack pallets
  • Operate the trash compactor, floor scrubber, and cardboard bailer
  • Perform other duties as requested

You have:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Experience working with an electric pallet jack
  • Experience as a Porter in a warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, collaborative approach
  • Strong work ethic
