How will you make a difference?

We are actively looking for Foundry Laborer. As a member of the Fulmer/Perma-Cast group, you will be responsible for assisting in the Foundry, making parts for customers. 

What will your typical day look like?

• Proper Setup and Safe operation of hot metal molds.
• Utilizes Foundry principles of metal melting, pouring (ladling), solidifying and familiar with proper handling opening and closing of hot metal (permanent molds or others).
• Inspection of work

• Following Job Safety Analysis (JSA)

What do we want to know about you?

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• This position requires accuracy and responsibility as many duties must be performed without close supervision.
• Training and/or experience using Foundry hot metal Molds including Furnace(s) apparatus is preferred.
• Minimum 3-6 months on the job training under close supervision.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $19.00 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
