Aspirus Eagle River Hospital in Eagle River, WI is seeking a TEAM LEAD- ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES to join our ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES team!
The Team Lead of Environmental Services is responsible for the timely coordination of work assignments relative to customer requests for service and project work. This is accomplished through the daily assignment of staff, resource availability, and subsequent follow-up. The Environmental Services Team Leader will lead a team comprised of staff with skill sets ranging from EVS Aide to EVS Specialist.
HOURS: Full Time 1.0 FTE, 80 Hours Biweekly
Experience/Qualifications
  • Knowledge of housekeeping and office procedures normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare housekeeping/environmental cleaning standards, practices, normally acquired through three years' work experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification within one year of employment as a Team Leader desired.
  • Possesses interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with staff, vendors and other departments.
  • Basic computer skills necessary in order to gather and enter data concerning personnel, supply and equipment needs, and assist in the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Possesses good communication skills; both verbal as well as listening skills.
