Associate Immigration Attorney - Houston, TX
Sebastian Simon Law Group, PLLC is seeking a full-time Associate Immigration Attorney to join our Houston office.
We are looking for an attorney with immigration law experience who is comfortable handling a broad range of immigration matters and working directly with clients.
The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and able to independently communicate with Spanish-speaking clients, conduct case preparation, attend USCIS interviews, and represent clients in immigration court without requiring an interpreter or additional staff member.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • $90,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience
  • 401(k) eligibility after six months
  • Two weeks paid vacation
  • Full-time, in-office position in Houston

This position offers the opportunity to take meaningful responsibility for cases, work directly with clients, and grow within an established immigration practice handling both USCIS and removal-defense matters.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000-$120,000 per year

Responsibilities
• Representing clients in removal proceedings before EOIR
• Handling Master Calendar and Individual Hearings
• Preparing clients and witnesses for hearings and USCIS interviews
• Handling asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, waivers, and family-based matters
• Reviewing and developing case strategy
• Reviewing filings and supporting evidence prepared by paralegals
• Drafting motions, briefs, and responses to RFEs/NOIDs
• Managing assigned cases and deadlines
• Communicating directly with clients regarding case strategy and developments
Qualifications
• Licensed and in good standing with the bar of any U.S. state
• 1-3 years of immigration law experience preferred
Fluent or professionally proficient in Spanish
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
• Removal-defense/EOIR experience preferred, but candidates with strong USCIS, family-based, asylum, or humanitarian immigration experience are encouraged to apply
