As an Immigration Legal Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our team provide exceptional service to clients navigating complex immigration matters. We are looking for a motivated professional who thrives on organization, accuracy, and client-focused support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review immigration intake forms for accuracy and completeness
  • Review and organize supporting documentation for immigration filings
  • Assist attorneys and paralegals with case preparation and file management
  • Draft client declarations and other supporting legal documents
  • Manage office communications, including answering phone calls and responding to emails
  • Schedule meetings, consultations, and appointments
  • Track case deadlines and ensure timely follow-up on pending matters
  • Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other legal offices as needed
  • Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence
  • Maintain accurate records within legal case management systems
  • Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the firm
Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in a law firm, legal assistant, administrative assistant, or legal secretary role
  • Prior experience reviewing immigration forms and supporting documents preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in Hindi or Gujarati.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Experience with legal case management, docketing, or legal software systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or some college coursework preferred
