Job description

Senior Executive Assistant
Location: Washington, DC (100% onsite, 5 days/week)
Compensation: $28-$37/hour
Duration: 6-month contract with potential for permanent conversion
Start Date: ASAP
LHH is partnering with a highly respected financial services organization in DC to identify an experienced Executive Assistant for an immediate temporary opportunity. This role will provide high-level support to senior professionals and serve as a trusted partner in managing executive operations, client relationships, and daily business activities.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior leadership and investment professionals.
  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling priorities, and meeting coordination across multiple stakeholders.
  • Act as a gatekeeper by prioritizing requests, managing competing demands, and helping maximize executive productivity.
  • Coordinate communications, including calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Prepare, edit, and format presentations, reports, meeting materials, and other business documents.
  • Anticipate business needs and proactively resolve challenges.
  • Maintain confidential records, client documentation, and organizational files.
Client Relationship Support
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and requests when team members are unavailable.
  • Coordinate recurring client meetings and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Prepare agendas, meeting materials, logistics, and follow-up documentation.
  • Maintain accurate client records and activity tracking within CRM systems.
  • Support client onboarding and account updates.
  • Build strong relationships with clients while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
Operations, Travel & Project Coordination
  • Manage dynamic executive calendars and shifting priorities.
  • Coordinate domestic travel arrangements, including itineraries, accommodations, and transportation.
  • Optimize travel schedules to support efficiency and productivity.
  • Prepare and reconcile expense reports.
  • Support internal workflows, reporting, data management, and special projects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of requests and deliverables.
  • Monitor deadlines and maintain accuracy across ongoing initiatives.
Meeting & Event Coordination
  • Coordinate team meetings, client events, and internal functions.
  • Assist with planning and execution of team-building activities, celebrations, and client appreciation events.
  • Manage event logistics, invitations, registrations, and attendee communications.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Senior Administrative Assistant, or in a related support role.
  • Experience supporting senior executives, leadership teams, or client-facing professionals.
  • Financial services, banking, wealth management, investment management, or professional services experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
