Job Description:

IMINT Analyst Expert

GDIT is seeking an IMINT Analyst Expert to support the Army Persistent Overhead GEOINT Exploitation Enterprise Support Services (APOGEE) contract in support of U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).

The candidate will perform GEOINT exploitation, analysis and reporting of all Advanced GEOINT and Full Spectrum GEOINT (FSG) related disciplines, tradecraft, and products produced by INSCOM MIB-Theater Integrated GEOINT Divisions (IGD). Sub-disciplines include but are not limited to Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR), Electro-Optical (EO), Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR), Geospatial Information and Services (GI&S), Wide Area Persistent Surveillance (WAPS), geospatial data processing, and general intelligence analysis. The candidate must possess extensive knowledge and experience in GEOINT and be considered an expert in the field.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral Degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 5 years CURRENT GEOINT Analysis experience;
    OR
    MA/MS in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 10 years CURRENT GEOINT Analysis experience;
    OR
    BA/BS degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 15 years of Intelligence Analysis experience to include 8 years of CURRENT GEOINT Analysis experience.
  • Relevant specialized experience must be in the application of space-based GEOINT.
  • Expert knowledge of the full spectrum and commercial satellite capabilities, including tasking and collection processes and protocols.
  • Expert knowledge of GEOINT software including RemoteView, SOCET GXP, and ArcGIS.
  • Experience with photogrammetric principles and techniques, as well as experience with conducting Foundational Military Intelligence analysis and baseline reporting.
  • Ability to collaborate with GEOINT analysts to deconstruct problems and develop effective analysis and collection approaches, collaboration with partners across the IC and DoD on technical or substantive topics.
  • Knowledge of relevant GEOINT-related Army, National System for GEOINT (NSG), or Intelligence Community (IC) policies.
  • Expert ability to present intelligence information via multimedia presentations and written reports.
  • Experience with object-based production (OBP), structured observation management (SOM), activity-based intelligence (ABI), and analytic modeling.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours or days if mission requirements emerge.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GPC-II Imagery Certification - GPC IA-II
  • Experience with commercial visualization software; non-traditional GEOINT data sources; MS Office suite of tools; data analytics and COTS statistical software (SPSS, SAS, MatLab etc.); and/or presenting at community forums and symposiums.

The likely salary range for this position is $128,039 - $173,229. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
