What are some common challenges Imaging Tech Assistants face when supporting radiologic procedures?

Imaging Tech Assistants often encounter challenges such as managing a fast-paced workflow, handling multiple patient preparations simultaneously, and ensuring adherence to strict safety and hygiene protocols. Effective communication with both patients and the imaging team is essential to address patient concerns and ensure smooth, accurate imaging procedures.

What does an Imaging Tech Assistant do?

An Imaging Tech Assistant supports radiologic technologists and other medical imaging professionals by preparing patients, maintaining equipment, and assisting during imaging procedures like X-rays or MRIs. They help ensure patient comfort and safety, manage paperwork, and keep imaging areas clean and organized.
