Description

The Center for Rheumatology, LLP, the largest rheumatology practice serving upstate New York, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assitant (PA) to join our dedicated team. Our practice specializes in diagnosing and managing arthritis, osteoporosis, autoimmune diseases, and other musculoskeletal conditions.

This role is based in our Saratoga office and follows a Monday-Friday schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform comprehensive and problem-focused history and physical ย ย ย ย ย examinations.
  • Develop differential diagnoses and establish working diagnoses.
  • Interpret and correlate laboratory and imaging results.
  • Formulate and implement treatment plans, consulting supervising ย ย ย ย ย physicians when appropriate.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including: joint and ย ย ย ย ย bursa aspirations/injection and tendon and trigger point injections
  • Order and interpret diagnostic imaging (e.g., X-rays, DEXA, MRI, CT, ย ย ย ย ย bone scans) and EKGs.
  • Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with NYS law.
  • Apply medical knowledge to diagnose and manage disease processes, ย ย ย ย ย including symptom evaluation, medication management, and preventive care.
  • Ensure accurate patient coding for billing, maintain detailed ย ย ย ย ย medical records, and manage medical supply inventory.
  • Lead and support clinical team operations during shifts, including ย ย ย ย ย triage, treatment, and discharge coordination.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $112,000 - $125,000 annually
  • Productivity Bonus: 7% on productivity receipts
  • Continuing Medical Education (CME): Annual $2500 reimbursement ย ย ย ย ย provided

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant ย ย ย ย ย with current NYS licensure, registration, ย ย ย ย ย and DEA licenseย 
  • Prior experience in rheumatology is preferred, but not ย ย ย ย ย required
