Job Description:

  • The Veterinary Imaging Annotator supports the development of AI-driven solutions within the Petcare Science & Diagnostics team by accurately labeling veterinary radiographic images.
  • This role is critical to building machine learning models that detect image quality issues in X-rays, helping improve diagnostic accuracy and reduce the need for retakes in clinical settings.
  • The annotator will review and label large volumes of veterinary imaging data, ensuring high accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established guidelines.
  • This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to perform repetitive tasks with sustained focus, and a solid understanding of veterinary radiology principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and annotate veterinary X-ray images for quality issues and key features
  • Accurately label data to support machine learning model development
  • Maintain high levels of annotation accuracy and consistency
  • Meet defined productivity targets (throughput) and quality benchmarks
  • Collaborate with AI teams and veterinary imaging experts
  • Identify and resolve edge cases in complex or unclear images
  • Follow established annotation protocols and continuously improve processes

Qualifications:

  • DVM/VetMB (or equivalent) OR current veterinary student with radiology knowledge
