Job description

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to support a variety of imaging services across multiple facilities within our region.
As part of the Diagnostic Float Team (WEST Team), you will perform high-quality mammography exams, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging. Your responsibilities include gathering patient history, explaining procedures, positioning patients, reviewing image quality, and operating mammography equipment safely. You will also perform quality control tests, maintain documentation, and support infection control standards.

  • Qualifications** include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 2 years of hospital radiologic technologist and mammography experience, and certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS.
  • Skills required** include strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, positioning, radiation safety, and mammography best practices, along with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Key duties** involve patient care, image review, equipment operation, quality assurance, documentation, and supporting training and safety protocols.
