Im3 information

What is an im3?

IM3 typically refers to professionals working in the field of Information Management and Information Technology at a mid-level (sometimes used as a job code or internal designation in certain organizations). These roles often involve managing IT systems, supporting data management processes, and ensuring the smooth operation of information infrastructure. IM3 professionals may be responsible for both technical and administrative tasks, including system maintenance, user support, and compliance with data security policies. The exact duties can vary depending on the organization and industry.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an im3, and why are they important?

To thrive as an IM3 (Industrial Mechanic Level 3), you need strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a recognized trade qualification such as a Red Seal or equivalent apprenticeship. Familiarity with industrial tools, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is typically required. Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and effective teamwork are essential soft skills for excelling in this role. These skills and qualifications ensure safe, efficient equipment maintenance and minimize downtime in industrial settings.

What are some common challenges faced by im3 professionals when managing multiple IT projects simultaneously?

IM3 professionals often juggle several IT projects at once, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A common challenge is balancing competing deadlines and resource constraints while ensuring all stakeholders remain informed and engaged. Navigating shifting project requirements and integrating new technologies can also demand flexibility and proactive problem-solving. Successful IM3 professionals use collaborative tools and clear communication to keep teams aligned and projects on track.

Job description

Veterinary Dentist & Oral Surgeon

Animal Medical Center of Seattle (AMCS) - Shoreline, WA

Animal Medical Center of Seattle is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Veterinary Dentist to help grow and shape a dentistry service in Shoreline, Washington. This is an opportunity to build a strong caseload within a collaborative specialty and emergency hospital, supported by experienced colleagues, dedicated technicians, and the resources needed to deliver high-quality care.

If you are looking for a position that combines clinical autonomy with strong teamwork, this opportunity offers the chance to help shape a growing service within a sustainable, well-supported practice environment.

You will lead advanced dental care within a busy specialty hospital, performing complex dental procedures, oral surgery, and diagnostics while continuing to grow a dedicated dentistry caseload. You will work closely with specialists and emergency clinicians on challenging cases, partner with referring veterinarians, and provide clear, compassionate communication to clients.

As the service continues to develop, you will also have the opportunity to help shape workflows, standards, and the continued direction of dentistry at AMCS.

Why You'll Love Working Here

You will be supported by an experienced hospital team, along with administrative and operational support designed to help the service run smoothly and sustainably. Thoughtful scheduling and case flow are designed to create consistency and support work-life balance.

You will also be part of a collaborative specialty team that includes Internal Medicine, Radiology, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, Critical Care, and Emergency/ICU, creating an environment where complex cases benefit from seamless consultation and continuity of care.

Facilities Designed for Excellent Dentistry

AMCS provides a purpose-built dental suite equipped to support efficient workflow, advanced diagnostics, and high-level clinical care, including:

  • 4 wet dental tables
  • 4 IM3 Pro2000 Ultra dental units
  • 4 digital intraoral radiography units
  • VetCat Conebeam CT scanner

Together, these resources create an environment where you can practice advanced dentistry and oral surgery with confidence, efficiency, and strong clinical support.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a base salary starting at $225,000, along with a production-based compensation model, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance. AMCS also provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, continuing education support with dedicated time, professional dues and licensing assistance, paid time off, and an Employee Assistance Program.

A Culture of Collaboration and Support

At AMCS, collaboration, accountability, and clear communication are more than values-they shape the way the hospital operates every day. Leadership is accessible, teamwork is genuine, and we are intentional about continuing to strengthen our teams and services over time.

Located just north of Seattle, the hospital offers convenient access to both city amenities and outdoor recreation. From restaurants and live music to hiking, skiing, water access, and weekend trips to the mountains or coast, the Pacific Northwest provides year-round opportunities to recharge outside of work.

Who We Are Looking For

This role is ideal for a Veterinary Dentist who wants the collaboration of a specialty hospital while still having the autonomy to help shape a growing service. You may be especially drawn to this opportunity if you value shared accountability, clear communication, and an environment where you can focus on outstanding dentistry without competing for time, space, or resources.

If you are excited by the chance to help shape and grow a dentistry service with a strong foundation already in place, we'd love to hear from you.

Interested candidates can confidentially submit their CV to Jackie Ross at jackie.ross@ethosvet.com.
