PRIMARY PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE The Digital Media Designer II will help raise awareness about the Department and the services it offers, through social media engagement and outreach and the agency's website. Day-To-Day Activities: Under limited supervision of Communications Director, incumbent will: Develop and execute robust campaigns for various social media platforms, establishing clear objectives and themes, while also adhering to agency brand standards. Designs and edits consumer educational materials, reports and other publications.

Maintain a content strategy and editorial calendar including new and repurposed content, developing strategies to repurpose existing content in the most effective mediums. Design unique and on-brand graphics for daily social media content. Forecast, measure, analyze, and report impact of campaigns; course-corrects as needed throughout execution.

Must be able to prepare monthly analytic reports summarizing social media and website activity with minimal errors. Coordinate with peers to identify content gaps and opportunities for new content that will drive visits and conversions. Edit and maintain agency website, ensuring content is organized in a user-friendly manner and updating documents and pages as necessary.

Increase engagement by fostering relationships with federal, state and local agencies, community organizations and professional organizations. Ability to establish good rapport and provide accurate and timely responses to the public via social media and web platforms. Assist in the facilitation of internal projects such as webinars.

Maintain awareness of new and innovative digital trends and tactics. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum and Additional Requirements Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and relevant experience.

An associate degree or a bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for the required work experience. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience analyzing social media metrics. Knowledge of current website design, best practices and principles.

Experience developing paid and organic social media campaigns; familiarity with Non-profit marketing. Comfortable reaching out to new organizations to develop relationships. Strong sense of design.

Must be able to prioritize tasks and use sound judgment to complete complex special projects with limited guidance under tight deadlines. Must be extremely adaptable and able to follow a task or directive through, despite unfamiliarity with task at hand. Should have scrupulous focus on professionalism, including dress, timeliness, responsiveness to stakeholders and willingness to support colleagues on high priority needs.

Ability to learn, organize and present written information in a clear, concise and accurate manner to best address target audience. Must be able to generate ideas and pitches for content individually as well as within a team. Must be able to interact with people from diverse backgrounds and deal courteously with the general public and staff.

Exceptional attention to detail.
