Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing team by executing various tasks and projects to ensure the successful implementation of marketing strategies. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and contribute to the development of marketing materials. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating campaigns, events, and communications to enhance the organization's brand visibility and achieve marketing objectives.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Play a supportive role in marketing Eye Health America's professional services, highlighting their benefits.
  • Assist in implementing the strategic marketing plan, aligning with goals and objectives.
  • Track the marketing and advertising budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research, analyzing competition, demographics, potential, and market share.
  • Coordinate graphic design efforts for all marketing materials, including advertising, literature, and displays for both refractive and general practice needs.
  • Assist in managing the patient tracking database system, testimonial, and referral programs, generating reports to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain an effective social media schedule across all platforms.
  • Pursue media coverage opportunities as needed and contribute to monthly advertorials.
  • Support website updates to ensure they reflect current practice promotions, technologies, and new hires.
  • Coordinate media placement across various channels such as radio, print, billboards, and other relevant platforms.
  • Provide support to Outreach by coordinating monthly events.
  • Willingness to travel for in-clinic involvement, signage/material replenishment, and participation in external events and sponsorships.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a marketing or coordination role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software/tools.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing.
