Position Summary
The Account Executive, Group Sales is responsible for generating new revenue and expanding an active base of group and corporate accounts for Vegas Golden Knights home games at T-Mobile Arena.
This is a highly competitive, revenue-focused sales role that combines new business development, strategic account management, relationship building, and revenue growth. The Account Executive is expected to independently manage a book of business, develop and execute strategic sales plans, and consistently achieve or exceed revenue and activity goals.
The ideal candidate is a proven sales professional who is motivated by results, thrives in a fast-paced sports environment, and can build meaningful relationships with clients while identifying opportunities to expand their business with the Vegas Golden Knights.
Key Responsibilities
  • Generate significant new revenue through strategic outbound prospecting, including calls, emails, social selling, networking, and community engagement
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue and activity goals across group ticket sales products
  • Execute a minimum of 40+ outbound calls daily to drive new business opportunities
  • Develop new group business through theme nights, corporate outings, large group events (100+ tickets), and community initiatives
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and closing new prospects
  • Conduct virtual and in-person meetings, including arena tours and sales presentations
  • Maximize revenue from existing clients through upsells, add-ons, referrals, and repeat business
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, delivering a best-in-class customer experience
  • Proactively engage clients through calls, emails, seat visits, and personalized touchpoints
  • Assist in the execution and growth of group events, theme nights, and client experiences
  • Accurately track all sales activity, pipeline, and client data within CRM systems
  • Stay informed on team storylines, promotions, and inventory to effectively position offerings
  • Handle client questions, concerns, and service needs in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute events and fulfill client expectations
  • Share market intelligence, prospecting strategies, and best practices with the broader ticket sales team
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability for individual performance, pipeline health, and revenue results
  • Work games, events, and assigned nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, sports, or event-related roles (group sales preferred)
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue and sales goals
  • Demonstrated success in both new business development and account growth
  • Strong desire to build a long-term career in sports sales and revenue generation
  • High energy, positive attitude, and a relentless work ethic
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to independently manage priorities and a sales pipeline
  • Coachable, accountable, and team-oriented
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Experience with CRM and sales tools (KORE, AXS/Archtics, FEVO, ZoomInfo, Microsoft Office) preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays, including game days
