In this role, you will drive execution at scale, influence senior stakeholders, and mentor a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. You'll leverage your deep product management expertise, strong leadership, and technical acumen to proactively combat evolving fraud tactics and fortify trust across Uber's ecosystem.ย You will own products like verification badges, earner onboarding verification, verification for restricted items such as alcohol etc.

  2. Deeply understand Uber's mission and strategies, as well as the objectives of partner teams and stakeholders, to align identity verification efforts with broader company goals.
  3. Drive innovation and execution, leading cross-functional teams-including engineering, data science, legal, and operations-to develop new identity products and features that support Uber's global growth while enhancing platform security.
  4. Challenge teams to think boldly and creatively, ensuring that ideas are transformed into concrete products and execution plans.
  5. Set clear qualitative objectives and quantitative goals, measuring success through data insights, customer research, and product intuition.
  6. Be highly truth-seeking, soliciting critical feedback, leveraging market insights, and iterating to improve identity verification processes continuously.
  7. Communicate product plans, benefits, and results effectively to executives, product teams, and other stakeholders across Uber, driving alignment and momentum.

What You'll Needย 

  1. Domain expertise in risk, identity verification, security, trust and safety or similar focus.
  2. An undergraduate degree in engineering or similar technical domain. Master degree preferred.ย ย 
  3. Phenomenal track record of working with engineering, analytics and design teams, with proven examples to prioritize work across the team.
  4. Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills with a confirmed ability to influence partners.ย 
  5. Demonstrated experience using data and analytical abilities to help solve problems and make decisions.
  6. Proven ability to develop deep customer empathy and articulate customer problems.
  7. Minimum 3 years of experience, leading a team of product managers.
  8. 10+ years of experience, delivering highly successful products in world class technical organizations

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
