Job Summary

PER DIEM - REGISTERED NURSE (RN) ICU

Talented Medical Solutions

Temporary, Part-time

In-Office | Selma, AL, United States

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality ICU nursing care to adult patients per unit protocols.

  • Respond promptly to code blue and emergency situations in ICU.

  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in real time.

  • Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and safety.

  • Document care events, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records.

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to update care plans.

  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards.

  • Prioritize workload to meet unit targets and productivity expectations.

  • Demonstrate a growth mindset by seeking continuous learning and professional development.

  • Participate in daily rounds and provide patient and family education.

  • Support on-site team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Active RN license with ICU-specific patient care experience.

  • ACLS certification and recent ICU code blue proficiency.

  • Ability to triage and prioritize care under high-pressure conditions.

  • Proficient in ICU EMR documentation and real-time charting.

  • Strong collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Demonstrated infection control, patient safety, and quality metrics adherence.
