ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Project Technology V to support the design and delivery of complex projects including healthcare, education, commercial, and science and technology facilities. This role provides technical leadership throughout all phases of project delivery, including planning, design, construction administration, and client engagement. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to develop reliable, resilient, and high-performing technology infrastructure design solutions. In addition, this position will play a key role in advancing operational technology strategies that enable intelligent, connected smart building environments.

 
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Be an ambassador of our brand, responsible for demonstrating how our Living-Centered Design approach can help clients and partners achieve enduring success.
  • Lead technology design efforts for multiple active projects through planning, design, construction documentation, bidding, and construction administration phases.
  • Establishes and communicates assignments to team members. Oversee team progress and coordinate team activities and goals.
  • Coordinate technology systems design with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders to achieve integrated project solutions.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients regarding technology scope and infrastructure design including all facets of building ICT systems; telecommunications, security, facilities, clinical and audiovisual systems.
  • Interface with internal teams to develop and integrate operational technology design initiatives into project delivery solutions.
  • Accountable for the QA/QC process. Monitor the technical quality of the projects. Be an active participant in and enforce the application of the QA/QC process.
  • Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality management activities.
  • Conduct field observations, jobsite visits, and construction meetings to verify installation quality and support issue resolution.
  • Oversees the development of staff member's departmental evaluations and selects individuals for further training and advancement.
  • Mentor engineering staff and contribute to technical development, quality improvement, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Builds external relationship through networking, community and industry functions.
  • May perform other duties as required.
 
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Qualified candidates must have 10+ years of related experience.
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Engineering, Audio Systems, Information Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Current PE, BICSI RCDD, AVIXA CTS-D or ASIS PSP certification required.
  • Must have strong project management, communication, teamwork and collaboration skills as well as an ability to engage effectively with clients.
  • Must understand IT system integration within the context of overall building design, including space planning and technology impacts, and an ability to blend technical solutions with business practices and personnel needs.
  • Strong knowledge of design codes and standards.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects is essential.
  • Must have demonstrated experience leading engineering efforts for large and complex facilities, including healthcare, commercial, science and technology, higher education, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
  • Experience coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors throughout all phases of project delivery.
  • Ability to travel to meet project and client needs.
  • Revit proficiency is preferred.
The salary range for this position is $ 108,990 to $136260 annually.  This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances.
