Overview

The Barback supports bartenders by keeping the bar fully stocked, clean, and organized during events. This role ensures bartenders have the supplies they need to provide fast and efficient service, while maintaining cleanliness and assisting with overall bar operations in a high-volume environment.

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00 and is tip eligible

Responsibilities
  • Stock bar with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, cups, and supplies
  • Refill ice bins and restock items throughout the event to support bartenders
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, including wiping counters and removing trash
  • Wash bar tools, glassware, and equipment as needed
  • Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries of alcohol and bar inventory
  • Help set up and break down bar stations before and after events
  • Remove empty bottles, cans, and boxes and keep storage areas organized
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisor/bartender when supplies are low
  • Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service policies
Qualifications
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (cases of beer, liquor, ice, etc.)

  • Ability to stand and work on feet for long periods of time

  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays depending on event schedule

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude

  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance

  • Previous barback, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred but not required

  • Must meet minimum age requirement to work around alcohol (based on state laws)
