BARBACK JOB DESCRIPTION
HAVASU LANDING CASINO
DEPARTMENT:          BAR
REPORTS TO:           FOOD & BEVERAGE DIRECTOR
PAY RATE:                 $15.00/HOUR

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and qualify for a gaming license. 
  • Cannot be convicted of a felony
  • Ability to qualify for a food handler’s card or serve safe certification. 
  • Ability to qualify for responsible beverage server. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours and take direction from management
  • Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace
  • Requires good verbal and communications skills
  • Must have complete knowledge of legal requirements and liquor laws including gaming regulations as they apply to the food and beverage operations
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to five (5) hours in length
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, push, pull and lift 60 pounds, must be able to reach above shoulders frequently and repetitively
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The ability to slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks, wash and sterilize glassware
  • Help always maintain a clean work environment, ensures ashtrays are always clean
  • Keep Co2 tanks, change bag in the box soda, get ice, change out kegs, etc. 
  • Must be flexible and be able to work Holidays, weekends, days, and nights
  • All duties as assigned
