Job Title:Power Player

Pay Details:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

This is a part-time, seasonal position within the Anaheim Ducks Entertainment Department. The Power Players are a high-energy promotional team that supports the Ducks in-game entertainment presentation and promotes the Ducks at community events. The primary responsibilities of the Power Players are to generate excitement and engage with fans. Additional responsibilities can include ice skating during home games to clean the ice surface during media time-outs and assisting with on-ice promotions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the in-game entertainment presentation by uniting the crowd in chanting and creating a high energy atmosphere

  • Launch t-shirts and other promotional items out into the crowd during Ducks games

  • Assist the stage managers with the setup of promotions, contests, and intermission activities

  • On camera presence during arena promotions

  • Assist with in-game video features shoots as needed

  • Assist in data cultivation through" register to win" entries during Ducks games as well as at off-site events

  • Distribute promotional and sales collateral at Ducks games and off-site events, with a good understanding of the materials

  • Distribute promotional giveaways at home games

  • Assist hosting Ducks Watch Parties

  • Hand out premium items, facilitate on-site promotions, communicate general Ducks information, and interact with fans

  • Attend dance practices throughout the hockey season

  • If necessary, attend ice skating sessions throughout the season

Skills

  • Must be comfortable in front of large crowds and on camera

  • Demonstrate a fun, energetic, and outgoing personality

  • A team player who enjoys working in a team environment

  • Organized and able to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced work environment

  • Customer-service oriented

  • Live performance and or dance/cheer experience is a plus

  • Must be able to work home games, nights/weekends, and holidays as required

  • Requires prolonged standing; able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
