Help build the infrastructure powering the digital world.
We are building a pipeline of experienced Commercial Building Inspectors for an upcoming large-scale data center project in Hobart, Indiana. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity supporting a major commercial construction initiative with strong long-term potential.
We are seeking inspectors with strong commercial code knowledge, excellent field judgment, and ICC certifications who enjoy working in fast-paced, technically advanced construction environments.
This position is expected to begin as a contract assignment, with anticipated project durations ranging from 18 to 36 months or longer.
What You'll Do
  • Perform commercial code inspections on large-scale data center construction projects
  • Conduct Combination Commercial inspections in accordance with ICC and applicable local codes
  • Inspect structural, building, and related construction work for code compliance and quality standards
  • Prepare written and electronic inspection reports and correction notices
  • Interpret and explain applicable building codes and inspection findings to contractors and project teams
  • Collaborate with project management, contractors, engineers, and fellow inspectors to support successful project delivery
  • Recognize and resolve complex field issues using sound technical judgment
  • Maintain accurate inspection documentation and records
  • Support a safe, professional, team-oriented work environment
  • Occasional travel may be required based on project needs

Qualifications
Required
  • ICC Combination Commercial Inspector certification
  • Commercial building inspection experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and applicable building codes
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently on active construction sites
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred
  • Additional ICC certifications in Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Plumbing (MEP)
  • CBO certification
  • Experience supporting data center, mission critical, or large industrial construction projects
  • Associate degree or technical training in construction, engineering, architecture, or related field
