Job description

Design, implement and support full life-cycle ERP system modernization and conversion projects on the IBM iseries platform and Oracle, including large data ingestion, replication, persistence, transformation, and retrieval projects involving complex and scalable coding to perform calculations, aggregations and business logic. Use .NET, Node, Java, and similar languages to design, develop and maintain RPG, DB2, Oracle stored procedures and Python Fast API micro services and applications. Maintain and manage the data flow pipeline between ERP DB2 database and other data stores such as payment systems, financial reporting, etc. Resolve the data quality issues and user support issues in an effective and timely manner.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of experience as a Data Engineer, Database Engineer, Oracle Engineer, Systems Engineer, Software Engineer.
ALTERNATE EDUCATION: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology.
ALTERNATE EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience as a Data Engineer, Database Engineer, Oracle Engineer, Systems Engineer, Software Engineer.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The required experience must have involved data engineering and must have included two years of experience using SQL, .NET, Node and Java in the design, implementation, and support of full lifecycle data engineering projects. Experience must also have included event-driven and cloud-based architectures and containerization of streaming technologies.
Position will be filled at level commensurate with experience
