Position: SRE Architect

Location: Onsite - Dallas โ€“ Tx, Basking Ridge - NJ, Raliegh โ€“ NC, Tampa โ€“ FL

Duration: Long Term

Required skills

  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise IT or telecom environments with strong exposure to OSS/BSS systems
  • 8+ years of architecture experience on IBM Mainframe z/OS and midrange (Linux/Solaris) platforms
  • Proven expertise in Site Reliability Engineering including SLO, SLI, and error budget management
  • Deep knowledge of Ericsson Telcordia OSS applications such as SWITCH, TIRKS, FACS, WFA, and SOAC
  • Strong experience designing reliability architecture for high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery
  • Hands-on expertise with mainframe technologies including z/OS internals, JCL, IMS, VSAM, and performance diagnostics
  • Solid background in observability, monitoring, and AIOps tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, Instana, NetCool)
  • Experience driving automation, self-healing systems, and CI/CD reliability practices across hybrid environments
  • Strong understanding of telecom processes including provisioning, order management, activation, and service assurance workflows
  • Proven leadership in incident management, root cause analysis, and driving MTTD/MTTR improvements across production systems
