Job Title: Mainframe CICS System Administrator
Location: Phoenix, AZ
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe CICS System Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize CICS environments on IBM mainframe systems. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and secure transaction processing within enterprise systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
  • Strong experience with CICS administration
  • Hands-on experience with z/OS
  • Knowledge of JCL, VSAM, SMP/E
  • Experience with DB2 and IBM MQ
  • Familiarity with system tools like SDSF, RMF, SMF
Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in production environments
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 3 8+ years of experience in Mainframe/CICS administration
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with CICS TS (Transaction Server)
  • Knowledge of automation tools (REXX, Ansible for mainframe)
  • Exposure to DevOps in mainframe environments
