Role Summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior ITOM Engineer with deep expertise in IBM/Rocket ITOM report management tooling. This role is responsible for Product Admin report setup, configuration, and distribution data entry services within a large-scale enterprise infrastructure environment. The successful candidate will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for ITOM reporting operations, ensuring accurate and timely report generation and distribution to key stakeholders.

Project Context

This position supports DXC's managed infrastructure services delivery for a major automotive manufacturing client. The engineer operates within DXC's IT Operations Management (ITOM) practice, enabling reliable and efficient reporting operations at enterprise scale. Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain the IBM/Rocket ITOM report management platform, including system configuration, user access provisioning, and environment health monitoring

Perform Product Admin report setup - defining report parameters, scheduling, formatting, and output routing

Execute distribution data entry services ensuring accurate recipient mapping and delivery confirmation

Troubleshoot report generation failures, distribution errors, and platform performance issues in a timely manner

Collaborate with infrastructure operations teams to align reporting outputs with SLA and KPI requirements

Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and knowledge articles for ITOM reporting processes

Identify and implement opportunities to automate or streamline report setup and distribution workflows

Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior team members on ITOM tooling best practices

Required Skills & Experience

5-8 years of hands-on experience with IBM/Rocket ITOM report management tools

Demonstrated experience performing Product Admin functions including report setup, configuration, and maintenance

Proven experience with distribution data entry services - recipient management, routing rules, and delivery validation

Experience working in large-scale, multi-client managed services environments

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of enterprise IT Operations Management (ITOM) frameworks and processes

Proficiency in IBM/Rocket ITOM platform administration and configuration

Experience with report scheduling, output formatting, and automated distribution pipelines

Familiarity with ITSM ticket management workflows and change advisory board (CAB) processes

Soft Skills

Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy in report configuration tasks

Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder engagement

Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with ITIL service management frameworks and best practices

Experience with adjacent reporting and scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Automic)

Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms and integration patterns

Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, or shell for report automation

Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry IT environments

Preferred Certifications

ITIL v4 Foundation

IBM Certified Administrator (relevant product line)

Experience Level

Years of Experience: 5-8 years in IBM/Rocket ITOM administration

Seniority Band: Senior Individual Contributor (JL8)

Client Exposure: Large enterprise, preferably multi-national manufacturing or automotive sector

Work Arrangement

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $115,100 - $213,700.
