Role: Technical Service Owner
Location: ONSITE- Chicago or Remote
Job Descriptions:
• Own end-to-end engineering design and implementation for the service
• Lead and manage the delivery team, including day-to-day coordination and execution
• Drive Scrum ceremonies and ensure strong delivery discipline
• Partner closely with Product, Architecture, and Engineering stakeholders
• Combination of Technical Project Manager and Product Owner, who can carry out given responsibilities, and also code and troubleshoot, as and when required.
Core API Skills
• AS400 / API Skills Required
• .Net Core, REST API design — endpoints, versioning, status codes
• Salesforce REST API and platform event integration
• OAuth 2.0 / JWT authentication and API key management / RBAC
• OpenAPI / Swagger contract documentation
• JSON and XML payload handling and schema mapping
Architecture & Messaging
• Service-oriented / microservices communication
• IBM MQ message bridging between AS400 and modern services
• AS400 REST exposure via IBM Integrated Web Services (IWS)
• Insurance carrier API integrations (quote, bind, rate)
• API Gateway concepts — rate limiting, throttling, routing
