Nemean Solutions, headquartered in Sierra Vista, AZ, is a certified SBA 8(a) Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) and veteran-operated company providing advanced Military Intelligence, Enterprise and Cloud IT services, Cybersecurity, Special Operations Forces (SOF) Exercise and Training, and niche Program Support and Professional Services to Federal and State Agencies supporting the US Government Defense, Intelligence and Aerospace sectors.


Job Overview:

Professional Writer to support the U.S. Army Transformation and training Command (T2COM) Intelligence Battle Lan (IBL). This role is responsible for developing, editing, and maintaining high-quality written products in support of intelligence training, doctrine, and operational initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience producing clear, concise, and technically accurate content for military or government audiences and can translate complex concepts into effective written communications.


This position supports a federal government contract with a current period of performance through June 2027.


Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze pre-experiment read-aheads, test plans, and other documentation to establish baseline knowledge prior to event execution.
  • Develop and standardize reporting templates and frameworks tailored to the specific objectives of each IBL experiment.
  • Consolidate, synthesize, and analyze raw data following IBL experiments.
  • Attend all IBL-related events and produce a detailed executive summary of the event to include topics covered, attendees, BLUF, due-outs, and associated timelines.
  • Develop/refine white papers related to IBL Experimentation and Science & Technology topics based on IBL events and Subject Matter Expert input.
  • Draft, format, and edit technical documents, reports, and briefings.
  • Publish IBL-directed topics to Military Intelligence professional publications related to IBL Experimentation and S&T via SME input.
  • Ensure written work captures and expresses important techniques, results, and significant facts.
  • Translate complex technical concepts and results into clear, user-friendly language.
  • Ensure all content adheres to Army standards, style guides, and formatting requirements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure technical accuracy and completeness.
  • Evaluate and incorporate comments resulting from staffing and coordination; resolve any disputes related to those comments.
  • Brief the Government on progress of the document and reasons for including or not including comments.
  • Manage overlapping, multi-week reporting lifecycles, balancing the drafting of new reports with the staffing and revision of previous deliverables.
  • Maintain and input experimental findings into required systems of record in a timely manner.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–7+ years of experience in professional, technical, or military writing.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience producing structured documents, reports, or training materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting DoD, Army, or intelligence community (IC) organizations.
  • Familiarity with Army doctrine, intelligence processes, or training development (e.g., TRADOC standards).
  • Experience with instructional design or course development.
  • Knowledge of style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago, or Army-specific formats).
  • Experience with content management systems or collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint).

Security Requirement:

  • Active Secret Clearance Required

Travel Required:

  • Approximately 5%.
