Kline Electric is looking for a traffic signal technician for traffic structures to be based out of our shop in Des Moines, IA

Here is what we are looking for:

-Licensed journeyman electrician (preferred)

-IMSA Traffic Signal Level II certification (REQUIRED)

-Class A CDL operator (preferred)

-Installation of traffic signal poles, cabinets, and heads

-Wiring of lighting and traffic signal cabinets

-Performs routine and emergency repair of traffic signals on site

-Troubleshooting of traffic signal systems

-Installs and maintains traffic signal systems

-Installs underground traffic signal cable and street lighting cable installation

-Ability to maintain composure in emergency situations

-Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, cities, and public

-Ability to lead crew members to the tasks at hand

-Ability to work in all weather conditions

-Ability to work near heavy traffic

-Ability to work in heights up to 50โ€™

-High attention to safety and proper PPE
