Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute (MTech) seeks a professional who will ensure our products are reliable, functional, and robust through comprehensive testing across UI, API, and AI model behaviors. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining the quality standards that support our mission-critical educational programs.
The A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland catalyzes high-

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Master's in a related field. Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of exceptional experience will be considered.
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience.
Required Technical Skills:
a. Strong experience in software quality assurance with 3+ years professional experience
b. Expertise in test automation frameworks and methodologies
c. Experience testing APIs, web applications, and complex integrated systems
d. Knowledge of AI/ML testing concepts and model validation techniques
Programming Languages & Testing Tools:
a. Python (for test automation and AI testing)
b. JavaScript/TypeScript (for web application testing)
c. Testing frameworks: Selenium, Pytest, Jest, Cypress, Playwright
d. API testing tools: Postman, REST Assured, Newman
e. Performance testing: JMeter, LoadRunner, K6
f. Test management: TestRail, Jira, Azure Test Plans
g. AI testing tools: Great Expectations, MLflow, W&B (Weights & Biases)
