Job description

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as an MQ Series Administrator and familiar with all aspects of MQ administration.
  • Proficient in MQ Series 9.X features- Strong knowledge of MQ objects such as Queues, Channels, Clustered Queues, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with MQ Clustering variants, PUB/SUB, and Client-access architectures
  • Knowledge of MQ security aspects: Channel security, SSL, authentication & authorization mechanisms
  • 5+ years experience with Red Hat Linux or any other flavor of Linux Inc. shell-scripting)
  • Security hardening of IBM MQ to include TLS encryption and Authority/Authentication Records
  • Monitors execution and performance of messaging applications.
  • 5+ experience with MQ installs (zOS and distributed) - zOS experience is must
  • Experience using JCL (Job Control Language) to run batch jobs
  • Experience using automation with Ansible automation (for middleware platforms)
  • 5+ years experience on IIB administration who is able to do configuration changes, deployments and Broker setup.
  • Install and Configure IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Software in development, test and production environments
  • 5+ years experience monitoring and maintaining the health of IIB environments to ensure high availability and performance
  • Implement and Manage security protocols and policies in IIB environments
