Job Title: Hyundai Certified Technician
Company: Chapman Bell Rd. Hyundai
Location: 999 W Bell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85023
Schedule: Monday-Friday, shifts vary 7am-6pm
Pay: up to $42/flag hour, based on certifications and experience


About the Role

Chapman Automotive Group is a family-owned dealership organization that has delivered exceptional service and a customer-first experience since 1966. As one of the leading automotive retailers in Arizona and Nevada, we take pride in our strong team culture and commitment to excellence.

Our Chapman Bell Rd. Hyundai location in Phoenix is currently seeking a qualified Hyundai Certified Automotive Technician to join our dynamic Service Department. In this role, you will work collaboratively with fellow technicians, service advisors, and the parts department to provide top-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services that keep our customers vehicles running like new.

Responsibilities

  • Test, diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Communicate additional repair or maintenance recommendations to the Service Advisor
  • Perform repairs and maintenance according to dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
  • Thoroughly document inspection findings and maintenance recommendations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of automotive technician experience required
  • Hyundai experience and certifications required
  • Engine certification preferred
  • ASE certifications are a plus
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
