Role: Sr. Oracle Hyperion Essbase Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ or Plano, TX (No remote) - Fulltime Position
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Primary Skil: Hyperion Essbase Development
Secondary: SQL
Experience: Minimum 6 years
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Information Systems or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience with Oracle Essbase and Hyperion Planning
  • Proficient in designing and maintaining multidimensional databases and business rules
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Experience with Smart view, data integration and automation tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • Design, develop, and maintain Essbase cubes and Hyperion Planning applications
  • Collaborate with finance and business teams to gather requirements and implement planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions.
  • Optimize Essbase calculations, data loads and reporting for performance and accuracy
  • Manage metadata, business rules and security within Hyperion Planning
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Essbase and Hyperion Planning environments
  • Provide end-user support, training and documentation for planning and reporting processes
  • Participate in upgrades, migrations and integration projects involving EPM systems
  • Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or other Oracle EPM modules.
