Job description

Job Summary:
ClifyX is seeking a Hyperion Functional Architect to lead the design and implementation of Hyperion applications. The role involves translating business needs into practical architecture for budgeting and forecasting solutions, while adhering to defined SDLC processes.
Responsibilities:
• Understand business requirements and lead Hyperion application design, including Essbase, Planning, FDMEE and FR.
• Translate client business needs into practical architecture for budgeting, reporting and forecasting solutions.
• Develop systems requirements, design, prototype, implement and rollout solutions
• Understand and adhere to defined SDLC processes, including documentation, testing and approvals
• Write and maintain clear, concise functional and technical specifications for Hyperion applications and business system processes
• Creation of architecture and design documentation, updating the requirements documentation, and ensuring requirements traceability
• Participate in the development of unit and integration testing plans, testing scripts, enhancements
• Application of interpersonal skills to build relationships with Client and project team members
• Effective communications at project team level
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, Master Degree (preferably Finance)
• Hyperion Certified Professional
• Require solid understanding of financial related processes and technologies, financial statement structures and budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Requires a minimum of 5+ years progressively responsible experience in Hyperion Planning and Essbase application administration, development and support
• Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience with the latest Hyperion EPM products (currently 11.1.2.4)
• Requires experience in working with Oracle EPM Cloud Products (PBCS, EPBCS)
• Experience with other Hyperion EPM Suite products, FDMEE and ASO Cubes required
• Proven experience in business process analysis, gathering and documenting business requirements, and drafting system requirements and specifications; strong follow-through, ability to drive to closure and resolution of complex system issues
• Excellent problem identification, analysis and solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to absorb, analyze, and understand new information, technologies and practices quickly
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel; proficient with MS PowerPoint
• Understanding of project management, SDLC, risk management, quality engineering
• Exceptional communication and customer facing skills, able to interact effectively with diverse groups of global stakeholders, both technical and business users
• Proven ability to manage multiple activities of varying complexity while prioritizing and focusing on critical tasks and issues
Preferred:
• Experience working in a multinational environment very strongly preferred
• Experience working with IT staff in multiple locations strongly preferred
