Upon completion of the separation, this position will become part of Trinzic. Our teams support defense, intelligence, space, aviation, cyber, and critical infrastructure missions, helping customers solve complex challenges across land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace.
Join us and be part of a team delivering mission critical solutions that make a lasting impact.
About the Role
KBR is seeking an Enterprise Application Systems Administrator to join the Enterprise Systems team. This role supports the day-to-day administration, monitoring, and maintenance of critical enterprise applications, including Deltek Costpoint and related business systems. Working closely with senior administrators and technical teams, the Enterprise Application Systems Administrator assists with troubleshooting, user support, system testing, access management, and operational monitoring to help ensure application reliability and performance. This position provides an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional to develop expertise in enterprise application administration within a complex and highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administration and support for Deltek Costpoint and related enterprise applications.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, system errors, and user access requests, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
  • Monitor application health, scheduled jobs, interfaces, and automated data processes to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and problem resolution across application, database, and infrastructure environments.
  • Support application upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and system testing activities.
  • Assist with administration and support of Deltek Cobra, Cognos, Oracle Hyperion Cloud (EPM), Oracle APEX applications, RFgen, and UiPath platforms as needed.
  • Maintain operational documentation, technical procedures, troubleshooting guides, and user provisioning records.
  • Ensure system administration activities comply with established security, audit, and change management requirements.

Basic Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, application support, or a related technical role.
  • Experience supporting business applications, enterprise software, or IT systems.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused support environment.

Technical & Professional Skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of application support, systems administration, or enterprise software environments.
  • Familiarity with SQL, databases, system integrations, or related technologies.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Deltek Costpoint or other ERP applications.
  • Familiarity with Deltek Cobra, Cognos, Oracle EPM, Oracle APEX, RFgen, or UiPath.
  • Exposure to software upgrades, testing, or release activities.
  • Experience working in a government contracting or regulated environment.

Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
Benefits: KBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include a 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule. We support career advancement through professional training and development.
