Job description

Visiting Angels is seeking a compassionate and reliable in-home caregiver to provide exceptional care to clients in Wheeling, WV. This position requires someone who is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized support and assistance in their daily activities.

  Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help with mobility and transferring clients safely
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
  • Monitor health conditions and report any changes 
  • Ensure client safety and comfort at all times
  Requirements
  • Previous care giving experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license, your own reliable vehicle and proof of car insurance
