What you'll do:
- Process & Workflow Optimization:
- Analyze manufacturing processes and workflows to reduce cost, improve sustainability, and establish best practices across production.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; collaborating with equipment vendors; and gathering insights from operators.
- Machining & CAD/CAM Development: Use CAD/CAM software to create, optimize, and improve machining processes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure product and process quality by developing testing methods, assessing finished-product and process capabilities, establishing quality standards, and validating manufacturing processes.
- Operations Planning & Cost Analysis: Support manufacturing decision-making by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; and estimating future operational requirements.
- Reporting & Data Analysis: Prepare detailed product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing performance data and trends.
- Equipment Reliability & Maintenance: Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer instructions and established procedures; and arranging specialty services as needed.
- Professional Development: Maintain professional and technical expertise by attending workshops, reviewing industry publications, building professional networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface effectively with vendors and internal partners to ensure clear communication of technical requirements and EHS expectations.

- Proficiency in CAD software.
