Your future role on our team

You'll be part of a team specialized incommissioning electrical systems up to 735 kV. You'll be supported by expertsat all times and exposed to a wide range of projects and environments todevelop your technical skills in all areas related to electric power. In thisrole, you'll lead commissioning projects, coordinate project teams and ensuretheir health and safety. Our main sectors include power (generation,transmission and distribution), mining and heavy industry.

  • Serve as the person responsible for the work for commissioning projects at Hydro-Quebec facilities
  • Implement safety measures
  • Ensure the entire team complies with safety requirements and rules
  • Perform various types of tests on power equipment
  • Test circuit breakers, disconnect switches and power and instrument transformers
  • Program and simulate protection relay settings
  • Perform pre-operational verifications and commission new electrical substations
  • Troubleshoot various electrical equipment (starters, motors, transformers, disconnect switches, cables, bus ducts, controls, etc.)
  • Draft verification, anomaly and follow-up reports
  • Ensure client satisfaction
