Berkshire Bay Contractors, Inc. is a licensed and insured plumbing and electrical contractor serving Southwest Florida. We are looking for a reliable and experienced Plumbing Service Technician who can handle service work while also being willing to assist with new construction when needed.

We take pride in doing quality work, taking care of our customers, and maintaining a strong team culture. As long as we are meeting our deadlines and keeping customers happy, we believe in enjoying the work we do and hosting company events throughout the year.

Schedule
  • Monday – Friday
  • Very minimal Saturday work, if any
  • Some days may require working later depending on service calls
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing issues
  • Perform drain cleaning and service plumbing repairs
  • Use drain cameras such as Ridgid SeeSnake for inspections
  • Use professional tools for unclogging toilets and clearing drains
  • Operate a hydro-jetter (experience is a plus)
  • Read and understand plumbing plans when required
  • Assist with new construction plumbing work when needed
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with customers
  • Collect payment and turn in service results daily
  • Ask customers for 5-star reviews after completed service calls
  • Follow all OSHA safety requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of plumbing service experience required
  • 1 year of new construction experience is a plus
  • Ability to diagnose plumbing service issues independently
  • Ability to read plumbing plans
  • Must be dependable and show up on time
  • Must be able to complete jobs efficiently and leave when finished
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Experience with water filtration systems
  • Knowledge of gas piping
  • Medical Gas Certification
  • Experience operating a hydro-jetting machine
