Job Summary:
At Alila Napa Valley, our Events Servers play a key role in delivering exceptional service for weddings, social gatherings, corporate events, and more. We are seeking on-call Events Servers who are passionate about hospitality, attentive to detail, and thrive in a luxury environment. This is an on-call position, ideal for individuals seeking flexible hours while being part of a world-class team.
Responsibilities:
Event Servers are responsible for food and beverage service at hotel banquet functions. They ensure the function space is visually appealing and help execute the event menu, which may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Additional duties include banquet prep, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.
  • Provide attentive and professional service throughout each event
  • Set up, service, and break down function spaces according to event orders
  • Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and planning teams to ensure successful event execution
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after service
  • Represent the Alila and Hyatt brand standards at all times
Qualifications:
On-Call Commitment:
On-call team members must be available for scheduled events and may not decline three consecutive shifts when offered.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in banquets, catering, or F&B service preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry trays, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
