The Accounting Clerk is responsible for supporting the hotel's accounting operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, reconciliations, and financial records. This role works closely with vendors, operational departments, and the finance team to maintain compliance with company policies and support efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process vendor invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform daily accounting activities, including accounts payable processing, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Monitor and manage payments related to hotel licenses, permits, contracts, and other recurring obligations.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including accounts payable accruals and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
  • Support finance team projects and assist with additional accounting duties as assigned.

The hourly rate range for this position is $25hr. - $30/hr. This is the pay range for this position that Hyatt Regency Long Beach reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
