Pay: $50,000–$56,000 annually (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom instruction and hands-on lab training using an established curriculum.
  • Demonstrate industry best practices, safety standards, and electrical techniques.
  • Evaluate student progress through assignments, practical assessments, and exams.
  • Prepare students for industry certifications and entry-level employment.
  • Maintain a positive, organized, and engaging learning environment.
  • Track student attendance, grades, and academic progress.
  • Ensure lab equipment and materials are maintained and ready for instruction.
  • Collaborate with academic leadership to support student success and continuous program improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and maintain applicable certifications.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional HVAC/R industry experience. Must also have a current EPA license.
  • Teaching or training experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, codes, and safety standards.
  • Current industry certifications preferred, where applicable.
