ABOUT THIS CAREER OPPORTUNITY

As an HVAC/R Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining commercial mechanical systems across various client sites. You'll diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure equipment is operating efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues
  • Complete digital work orders, service reports, and time entries accurately and promptly
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and recommendations
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and site requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Journeyperson Air Conditioning Mechanic (Red Seal) or 4th Year Apprentice
  • HRAI Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) Certification
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required site security clearances
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with DDC and building control systems is considered an asset
  • Experience with mobile/service software is considered an asset
