Job description

We are looking to hire an experienced Industrial HVAC Tech. This is for a well-established and respected leading company in the area.

Position Overview

The Industrial HVAC Technician will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC and mechanical systems. This position is ideal for a technician who works independently, diagnoses problems accurately, and takes pride in completing safe, high-quality work.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
  • Service rooftop units, boilers, chillers, air handlers, pumps, cooling towers, exhaust systems, and related controls
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control-system issues
  • Read wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals
  • Document service work, materials used, and recommended repairs
  • Communicate clearly with customers, supervisors, and other trades
  • Follow OSHA requirements, company safety procedures, and applicable codes
  • Participate in an on-call rotation when required
  • Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles
Qualifications
  • Four or more years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or large commercial systems preferred
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work from ladders, rooftops, lifts, and confined spaces
  • Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Boiler, chiller, controls, refrigeration, or hydronics experience is a plus
  • OSHA, NATE, HVAC Excellence, or manufacturer certifications are a plus
