Job Summary:
The HVAC Retail Installer is responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment in residential homes following manufacturer specifications, industry codes and standards, and company requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Installation of ductwork in residential homes.
  • Installation of HVAC equipment, thermostats, grilles, piping, in residential homes.
  • Maintain quality standards on all installations and tasks.
  • Always maintain safety standards.
  • Prepare operational reports.
  • Update job-related knowledge or skills.
  • Communicate with other personnel to discuss project details.
  • Must be willing to operate a company vehicle.
  • All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A Valid Driver's License and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, testing equipment, and safe installation of new and replacement parts.
  • Must be self-motivated and driven to get the job done quickly and to the best of their ability.
  • Must possess hand tools and power tools to execute job duties.
  • Must complete tasks, as assigned, within the company's standard timeframe.
  • Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
  • Physical dexterity.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5 years of experience installing duct or equipment without assistance in residential homes.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 to 100 lbs. at times.
