The Hutchens Company is a family-owned commercial HVAC and plumbing company serving the Huntsville, AL area. We believe in bringing entry-level and developing technicians into the trade, teaching them the right way, and helping them grow into long-term careers. We are hiring an HVAC Apprentice (Junior Technician) for someone with basic mechanical ability, a strong work ethic, and a real interest in learning HVAC service work. This is a great opportunity for someone who has trade school experience, some field experience, or at least a solid mechanical background and the desire to grow.


This role is designed for someone who is still developing their HVAC skills but has the right foundation to become a strong technician. You do not need to know everything yet, but you do need to be honest, dependable, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn. The right person may have completed trade school, worked in HVAC for about a year, or grown up fixing things and working with their hands. We can teach the HVAC side to someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and mechanical knack.
